The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying women's understanding of the nature of regulating sexual relations and its role on the quality of married life. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and a database method. The research sample consisted of 16 married women aged 20 to 45 from districts 9 and 10 of Tehran in 1400. Sampling was done in a targeted and accessible way. The criteria for entering the research were satisfaction with married life (using the Enrich questionnaire) and not having a history of divorce and breach of contract, and the data were collected using a semi-structured exploratory interview. The findings of the research included 86 open codes, 11 central codes and the selected code of "Sex Support Function". Foundational factors include personal psychological capital such as mental space management; Meaning-making perspectives were such as the meaning of commitment and interpersonal dynamics such as shared decision-making and complementarity. Intervening factors included cultural and social factors such as supportive lifestyle and barriers including horizontal barriers including lack of amenities and peripheral barriers such as family of origin problems. Strategies included satisfying attachment, participation in regulated sex, and communication skills that led to individual outcomes (physical and mental health) and interpersonal outcomes (feeling secure in the relationship and increased resilience). its primary consequence is increasing flexibility and adaptability in the family, and its secondary consequence includes increasing the quality of life and reducing the factors of disintegration in the family,

The Engaging Period is an entrance to a new stage of the life that is very important in the individual and social life of every person Accordingly, the present study was conducted to identify the reasons for the formation of marital conflicts during the engaging period.This qualitative research was conducted using Thematic Analysis approach. The population of the study was all conflicting martials in Tehran in 1399 who had the criteria to enter the research. The necessary information has been collected from 16 participants who has experienced conflict the engaging period. The results of qualitative analysis from interviews showed the defects in individual, interactive, origin of family and social-cultural adaptability are the four main themes of conflict in the contract. The conflicting couple instead of moving in the direction of the pattern of marital complementarity, the damaging pattern of following-escaping or negative control dominates the relationship. Accordingly, in the process of counseling with conflicting couples during the engaging period, it is more important to focus on the identified defects.Keywords: engaging Period, marital conflicts, thematic analysis.

Ru-dar-baysti is one of the cultural Iranian etiquette; a feeling of shyness and embarrassment related to saving face that occurs when individuals have respect for other party. The current study intended to identify the ru-dar-baysti-based phenomenal experiences of women with low intimacy in marital relationships. To conduct this research, a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. Participants included 14 women with low marital intimacy who were selected through purposive sampling method and snowball strategy with using Intimacy Scale (IS) developed by Walker and Thompson. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews. The interviews were recorded and transcribed verbatim. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method. Analysis of rudarbaysti-based phenomenal experiences of women with low intimacy in marital relationships led to extraction of 11 main themes: Participants' perceptions of the concept, Areas of occurrence, Reasons for rudarbaysti from the perspective of subject, How of rudarbaysti occurrence, Cognitive, Emotional, Relational, Physical-psychological consequences of rudarbaystis, Positive consequences, Effective factors on quitting, and Consequences of quitting rudarbaysti. The findings of the present study showed that rudarbaysti occurs for different reasons and dimensions of the women's intimate relationships with their husbands and in various forms and the occurrence of this phenomenon and quitting it causes a range of positive and negative consequences. It is suggested that according to the results of this study, a plan be developed to acknowledge and assess the type of couples' interactions and to formulate appropriate interventions in the process of couple therapy in a cultural context.

Marital satisfaction is considered as one of the most important criteria of a healthy family and from the basics of a couple relationship that is the concept dealt with the family and cultural contexts of society. The purpose of this study has been the codification of a conceptual model in the healthy family context. It has been done in the qualitative approach and it is based on grounded theory. The research instrument has been progressed through deep interviews until theoretic saturation. Twenty one satisfied couples have been sampled and interviewed in Tehran. Analysis has resulted 145 open codes, 25 axial codes and a selective code named the care of marital relation stability and its upgrade. According to paradigm model of findings, what is extracted as the efficient factors of forming marital satisfaction included causal conditions and Interfering factors including interactive causal and socio-cultural components have also played roles in marital satisfaction. Obstacles existing on the way of couples' satisfaction process have included the horizontal stress factor and the level system; Contrast these barriers, strategies including self-eminency, crisis management and activation of mechanisms making couple relation stable and upgrade such as belief acceptance and religious behaviors, patience and compatibility have been adopted. Marital satisfaction phenomena had individual (as happiness), couple (as feeling secure in relation) and socio-cultural (as successful parenting and social acceptability) consequences for them.
